Monthly Reflections | December

What I'm currently up to in life and on the blog. #currently #takingstock #monthlyreflections

Hello, January!  Where in the world did December go?  The month was full of baking cookies, eating lots of yummy food and enjoying time with family and friends and although it went by quickly, I wouldn't trade the past thirty-one days for anything in the world.
Lately, I've been...

Making:  plans for the coming year
Cooking:  lots of comfort food
Drinking:  hot tea with a ton of honey - winter colds are the pits!
Reading:  books to finish up my 50 books in 2015 challenge
Wanting:  the holidays to last a little bit longer
Looking:  forward to the coming weeks
Playing:  with my nephew and niece
Wasting:  time in bed (love having lazy lie ins)
Sewing:  not a thing
Wishing:  for more time in a day
Enjoying:  early bed times
Waiting:  patiently for good things coming
Liking:  some new beauty finds
Wondering:  about the future and what it holds
Loving:  freedom
Hoping:  things are settled soon
Marvelling:  at the beauty through my lens
Needing:  a hair trim (and a bright color job)
Smelling:  Michael Kors 24k Brilliant Gold
Wearing:  my winter capsule wardrobe
Following:  the weather forcast (big snow totals next weekend?)
Noticing:  I'm not alone
Knowing:  new things every day
Thinking:  of creative things
Bookmarking:  workouts for the new year
Opening:  new paints and brushes
Feeling:  inspired

What have you been up to in (month)?

  1. Winter colds are the WORST! But hot tea and lazy days in bed are wonderful.
