We all love a good journal, don't we? I've always been an advocate for using "brain dump" journals that are meant to be junked up with ideas and thoughts and sketches of things that you need to get out of your head before you go to sleep at night. Trust me, there's a lot of stuff going on in this head of mine and it's good to get it on paper!

On top of loving a good journal, one step above that is finding a super cute journal - like the Brain Freeze journal from Potter. It's made to look like a Neapolitan ice cream sandwich. It's very portable, measuring in at 4.1 x 6.2 inches and is 368 pages of pink and brown lined pages for notes with a large white space in the center for sketches or swatches.

One of the things I love about this little cutie is the exposed binding. Rather than having a typical full-cover binding like most books, you can see the thread-bound pages, making it easy to locate when sitting on a bookshelf. The cover is of good quality too, with debossed title and dots, making it look like an ice cream sandwich -  not to mention the beautiful brown speckled end pages.

The Brain Freeze journal becomes available to the public on Tuesday, May 10th and you can find it on Amazon or Barnes and Noble for about $10.

  2. Susannah, yes! I was planning on using it to brainstorm blog ideas. It's the perfect size to keep in my bag for those spur-of-the-moment things that come to me. :)
