15 of My Favorite Feelings

15 of My Favorite Feelings - A Simpler Grace

The world is hard, friend.

It's easy to be angry and afraid and sad and all those negative feelings.

But it's just as easy to counteract those feelings by being grateful. Being grateful for the good experiences. For the good feelings.

Here are fifteen of my favorites.

Quiet mornings

That first mug of tea

Getting a good stretch in yoga

Toes in the sand

Laughing with friends

Checking things off a list

Random texts from that special someone

Exploring new places

Snuggles with the fuzzies

Cooking for people I love

Being creative

My nephew's smiles

Stargazing

Taking off my makeup

Climbing into a bed with clean sheets

What are some of your favorite feelings?

The 15 of My Favorite Feelings post was inspired by Hank Green's video by the same name and the many other creatives who have shared blog posts and videos featuring their 15 favorites.

The post 15 of My Favorite Feelings first appeared on A Simpler Grace. If you enjoyed this article, please feel free to share it with your friends!

  1. Love this list! Mine include first sip of coffee, taking out warm laundry from the dryer, a cool breeze on a warm day, removing my shoes after a long run...I can go on and on lol :)

  2. Yes! All great things! Confession: on super cold nights, I will toss my bedding in the dryer for a bit so it's nice and warm when I get in. :D

  4. Great list, I share many of them! I love feeling the sun on my skin, watching the reflection of the water glimmering, light tickling on my skin....it's kind of fun to stop and think about the things you enjoy. I really could go on and on, too!

  19. YES to crawling into bed with clean sheets. That's one of my favorite feelings too! I loved seeing the videos that went up after Hank Green did his and I absolutely love this post. I might have to do it too and link back to yours, of course. :)

  20. The other 15 Feelings videos were a lot of fun. Claire Marshall (heyclaire) did a really good one that gave me all the feels. She's very cinematic in a lot of her videos and is so talented with her flawless editing skills. You should totally do a post. I'd love to read it!

  23. I love this, simple and true! Sticking my toes in the sand and crawling into a bed with clean sheets is the best. I was at the beach (I stay near the sea) just a few weeks ago, I need to get there again soon but its winter here now. Keep writing and inspiring!

  24. Aw. I love simple posts like this! For me, some of my favorite feelings are my first cup of coffee, staying in on a rainy day, smelling rain, and watching a favorite movie.

  30. Wow that is indeed a very long drive! Many years ago I moved away from home for a few years and was about 7 hours away, so I totally understand. Sometimes I think the people in my town take it for granted we have an amazing blessing right on our doorstep! :) I will definitely be checking back, your blog resonates with mine, and is inspiring to say the least. Have a wonderful day and weekend!
