For the Love of Ice Cream | Blog-tember Day 21

For the Love of Ice Cream | Blog-tember Day 21 #blogtemberchallenge

It's the twenty-first day of blog-tember and today we're talking about ice cream. Funny topic, right? Specifically, the prompt for today is, if you were ice cream, what flavor would you be. The funny thing is, I just had a conversation with someone recently. I don't know what brought the topic up, but my answer remains the same.

If I were an ice cream flavor, it would be ROCKY ROAD from Edy's, and here's why.

  1. Rocky Road was invented in 1929, making it one of the older, non-classic flavors. An "old soul", if you will, which is what has been said about me.
  2. It has a base of creamy chocolate with almonds and marshmallows and is the perfect mix of salty and sweet.
  3. Rocky Road earned its name when creators William Dreyer and Joseph Edy wanted to give Americans something to enjoy after the Wall Street Crash of 1929 and during the Great Depression. Whenever I eat it, I am reminded to smile and be grateful for the moment, no matter how tough life seems.

What ice cream flavor would you be?
