Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Energy Bites #glutenfree #vegan - A Simpler Grace
I don't know about you, but I get so frustrated when I don't have a quick and easy snack to grab when I'm rushing out the door. Some days, I don't have time to prepare something and I end up resorting to fast food, which we all know leads to nowhere good. Today, I'm sharing my recipe for these delicious peanut butter chocolate chip energy bites that take just a few minutes to prepare and you can keep them in your fridge for easy access when you are on the go.

This recipe is gluten free and can be easily altered to make them vegan, plus you can swap out the chocolate chips for dried fruit and the peanut butter for another type of nut butter, Make them how you want them and I promise you, they'll be delicious!

  1. Oooh, I love this idea! I am going to pin it! I need to sub the peanut butter for another nut butter (probably almond) because my husband has a peanut allergy. Excited to try it!

  2. Any kind of nut or seed butter will work just fine in this recipe. We have a peanut allergy in my family too, so I'd make them with almond or cashew butter. Hope you enjoy them!

  3. These are similar to herbal Zoom Balls that I have made before - I usually add in a few powdered herbs like ashwaganda and maca to up their nutritional value! I sometimes add ground flax seed, chia seeds, unsweetened coconut flakes and sub cacao nibs for the chocolate chips. Thanks for the recipe!

  4. Those are great ideas for add-ins. I think these little bites are ones you can make according to your personal tastes. They are so versatile! :)
