Links to Love | 119

Stop by to see my favorite links from the week! #linkstolove #fridayfavorites

It's been an encouraging week. There have been some awesome things happening around here and in science and around the world and... the Olympics are starting! I adore the winter Olympics and will be keeping tabs on all of the athletes from North America. I love watching the parade of nations during the opening ceremony. It always makes me tear up when I see how much pride people have in their homeland, even if they are the only person representing their country. Are you a fan of the Olympics?

Here are my favorite reads for the week. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

Favorite Video of the Week:
  • How awesome was the SpaceX Falcon simultaneous booster landing at Kennedy Space Center? It's cool enough that we can put stuff on Mars, but to be able to land these things without crashing them? Mind blown. (source)

  2. I needed to take a few pointers from that optimism article, myself. I am a worst case scenario person too. I call it "skeptical realism" and I'm rarely disappointed in life. Haha!

  7. I love the Olympics... if only for watching some of the more "odd'' sports out there :)

  8. Hey girl!
I’m watching a ton of the Olympics this year, much more so than I did with Sochi.
I really enjoyed reading how to bat fall asleep according to your personality type.
LOVED the Chernobyl pictures. I’ve always had such an odd fascination for Pripyat. It’s I believe there was a small number that stayed back in Pripyat when it was evacuated.

Thanks for sharing as always hun. :)
